Nehemiah 8:1-12
Our numerous experiences in life have proven that there’s a God who even the scientists have not disproved to exist. He also speaks and miraculously maintains a relationship with His Creation and human Creatures. Nehemiah completed the wall rebuilding and set up the people in Cities.Then the people gathered In Unity, asking Ezra the Priest/Scribe to read the Book of the Law. What followed?:
Verse 3:They listened from morning till midday. They were attentive.
Verse 5:They all stood up
Verse 6:They strongly agreed
Verse 7: They worshipped God, with their faces to the ground.Then they were taught to understand. They were overjoyed.
This Bible is a heavenly treasure that stands out as a book that’s the most published and read and even non-believers and Civil Lawmakers derive their Laws and Wisdom from it. The Word of God is honored and held high for the reform on individuals and policies in the Society. The Word is a pointer to our Creator’s desire for our good eg: Ephesians 6:1 for kids, Psalm 119:11&105 for our walk in life, Proverbs 30:5 on the Word.
True believers treasure the Word as a place to get all the clues to the questions of Life. The Church is fueled through the Word of God. The taste of the pudding, as they say,
is in the eating. Our bodies need the Spiritual food to sustain our physical bodies. Do yourself a favor: Cherish the reading of the Word.
May our Church abide in the honorable Word of God in Jesus name. Amen.
